Course length: 30 - 45 minutes

This program is designed for office staff and other personnel who do not routinely handle ESD sensitive materials, but are required to enter, or work in Electrostatically Protected areas occasionally.

Course Content:
  • Basic physics of static charge
  • Its impact on devices (and the impact on productivity/profit)
  • The correct use of the appropriate tools and materials

    The Instructor:

    The course instructor, Ron Zezulka, has over 30 years experience in failure analysis in the electronics industry.. Since 1986 he has specialized in the study of electrostatics. In addition to its impact on electronic devices, Ron has researched ESD as an ignition source for the propane and petrochemical companies. He has written numerous White Papers and technical articles and has lectured extensively throughout North, Central and South America.

    He has written training programs and in-house standards for a large number of major electronics firms. His light presentation style and trademark real world demonstrations provide a very effective learning environment.
